I Like Big Backsides to My House

A lot happened this week that is pretty visible. See below, by area. The brick walls on the sides if the yard were finished. It's all really coming together now. Look at that beautiful wall! And there's one on the other side, too! Closer view of the west garden wall. The end of the wall will tooth into the back (north) wall of the back yard. Not quite sure why there aren't spaces to tooth in at the top here...there's a brick wall all along the back, too. On to the interior! I walked in the front door and was surprised by what I saw... They moved the door! This actually makes a lot of sense. As you can see here on the right, they started framing in the door opening to turn it into the pass-through window. I mean to post this two weekends ago and then the week  and weekend got away from me. Here's an update from the past couple of weeks. The weather week before last was cold, rainy, or both, so most of the work happened inside. It was mechanical rough-in week!
