I mean to post this two weekends ago and then the week and weekend got away from me. Here's an update from the past couple of weeks.
The weather week before last was cold, rainy, or both, so most of the work happened inside. It was mechanical rough-in week!

I had a site visit with the contractor, plumber, and electrican this past Wednesday to go over the plumbing and electrical rough-ins. Here are a few pictures of what they had done the beginning part of last week.

Framing around the ductwork and furring of the existing brick wall. |

More framing and furring. |

Re-routed supply duct to upstairs. This is being reworked, as it goes too low. This is where the fridge goes but the duct can only go behind the cabinet above the fridge, otherwise it pushes the fridge out too far into the kitchen. |

We had to move the existing basement exterior door over, so that we could create a mechanical closet for the hot water heater and furnace. This is the demo for that moved opening. |
This week is suppose to be plumbing rough-in, and next week is electrical. Windows are suppose to come the following week right after Christmas, so then the envelope can be closed up and the interior finishes can be started.
Cabinets come the first week of January and then appliances. We are getting so close! We are starting week 13 of 19. Wow!!!
What kind of windows are you getting?
