Went over this evening and even more was gone!

The basement walls are almost gone!
No more bathroom
I can see all the way across the basement!
No more deck

Week 24: February 25 - March 1 This week was all about the little things...and the backyard. We decided to do a change order to get the backyard done because we figured it made sense to do it now, rather than leave it a big, muddy mess to deal with later, and my contractor gave us a good price (I consulted with others who have done similar work, including a contractor friend). The pictures in this post are all from Thursday, 2/28, but from both the morning, when I went over to meet with the contractor, and in the evening, when I went back to see the progress. You can easily tell the difference in the lighting. I have mixed them together so that the photos are grouped by location. Let's start with the backyard. Week 16 - DRYWALL!!!!!

This whole thing got a lot closer to looking done this week! Are you ready for it...... DRYWALL!!!! The walls got enclosed the end of last week and this week so far they've been mainly mudding and taping. But I'm going to tease you a little first.... The backyard. Nothing really new, but it's fun to start with this shot. Living room. Can't wait to have recessed lights! Holes in the ceiling for the wiring and the lights. Looking from the other direction.  AND......now for the beautiful, glorious, so happy to see it.... Wait for it. here it comes.... scroll just a little bit further.. little more.... Week 21 - Wall, tile, and other fine work

Week 21 - Feb 4-8 Man, life, it's crazy. I so meant to do a post 2 weekends and just never managed it. The back wall is done! The power is connected!! The creative downspout solution. Pad for the shed Backyard view from back door. The kitchen is coming together rather nicely. Transition between the new and original flooring Building our banquette! Isn't it just so beautiful?!
